Why are some people afraid of Prozac?

I am 25 years old. I have been taking Prozac for a week now. My sister and friend think that taking Prozac is so wrong! They think that I might kill myself or go to the street and shoot people. I know the risks, specially at my age. But seriously, they make me feel so upset!
