Should I quit dancing?

Never quit the thing you love so much, especially if it's what makes you happy. People are going to be mean, especially if you are better than them. It's just means that they are jealous and want to take you down. Have confidence in yourself and work around it, around them. Use it to make yourself a better dancer and person. If it's really upsetting you try speaking to somebody within your dance environment.
