What do you think I should do in this situation? Have I blown it out of proportion?

K I'll try to keep it short. About a year and a half ago, me and 3 friends in my class in uni did a documentary about a local donkey charity for a class project. I had been up there previously a few times, volunteering and that kind of thing. We said that we'd give them a copy as soon as we could. Thing is, while it turned out pretty good, I wasn't happy with a few things in the final product that two of the people in the group did without us all agreeing, and I wanted to fix it before I gave it to them to put on their website. I couldnt get hold of software so it took about 6 months for that and it's still not perfect. Then I was so busy with college and work and stuff, AND its a bit of a drive up there. So basically it went on the long finger. I know they werent expecting a david attenborough standard but im still a perfectionist. Anyway, I really want to give them the film, even though its so late now. I am passionate about the cause and animal welfare in general, and also want to start volunteering there again for the donkeys and myself, but I'm worried that they will have thought that we just took advantage of them now cos it taken so long to get back about it all. How should I go about this? Or am I making a mountain out of a molehill? I am blowing it up in my mind and Im really worrying about it thinking that I have burned my bridges with them. Thank u.
