What does it mean when a guy teases you?

I knew him since 5th grade and I remember him teasing him the most after I liked his use to be best friend. All the way till now he still acts the same (were Seniors in high school now). He makes these weird noises or says ewwww and it's getting really tiring especially if were about to graduate, ANY IDEAS OF WHY HE ACTS THIS WAY?! COULD BOYS ACTUALLY NOT LIKE YOU FOR YOU?!
