Relationship advice please? :(?

Okay so, I just turned 16, and I've only been in 2 real relationships. The first one, he was really sweet at first but then the relationship only lasted 2-3 months and he dumped me and was basically a player. The second relationship just ended, and I really thought he'd be the one :( . He wasn't as cute but we really had a lot of fun and made a connection, but that was mainly in the beginning. But it seemed like we knew each other for forever. I had some of the best times in my life with him. Turns out, he was verbally and somewhat physically abusive. I now lost all confidence and he made me think it was all my fault and hate myself. We constantly were breaking up and getting back together, saying how much he loved me, but he still treated me like ****. It was so confusing. He also made out with some other girl near the end of our relationship, and in the same night, he cuddled and "fell in love" WITH A 7TH GRADER! EWWWW!!!! I don't know why I want him still, or why i attract such JERKS!!! Why does this happen!? Any advice?
